Rejuvenates and Revitalizes

Stress has long been identified as a silent killer. It can ruin your life and has been around since the Dawn of Mankind. Whereas our prehistoric family had the stress of fighting the elements and staying alive during a hunt, we modern people have far more input on our plates. Advertising, electronics, jobs, relationships, money, “authorities” telling us who to be and what to look like; it all takes it’s toll on our bodies and our minds. Floating in a flotation tank completely eliminates the outside stresses of the day. Being in an environment of complete silence and dark in the optimum temperature, relieves you of the billions pieces of information bombarding you at every moment. It is a vacation from the world. Drastically reducing the stimulus going to the mind and body activates the parasympathetic response. In eliminating light, sound, temperature, and gravity, the body’s resources are freed to allow this restorative process to accelerate.

Flotation is simply the best way to eliminate stress, relieve pain, and completely relax. In this unique environment you float in a therapeutic solution of the mineral that is known to cause release in muscles (Epsom Salts). The back and joints are relieved of the pressure of gravity and decompress which reduces pain and facilitates the healing of tissues.

The result of this amazing experience, feeling like you are floating in space is total rejuvenation. Emerging from the float session you are relaxed and lucid, experiencing heightened sensory awareness and pronounced clarity of mind. It is this specific state that is known to induce moments of creative genius and deep insight providing pathways and solutions to the obstacles we face.

Experience Flotation and emerge feeling like a kid again. The weight off the shoulders, the pressure off the chest, and the light back in the eyes. Allow yourself this wonderful gift of youthfulness.

PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome)

According to the Mayo Clinic, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that’s triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. For many PTSD sufferers, flotation therapy reduces symptoms and fosters peace of mind. Regular flotation may help you regain control of your life.

Float Therapy: Can it be a Cure for PTSD?
Approximately 20% of veterans returning home from Iraq or Afghanistan will suffer from PTSD. In time, this may lead to several prescribed medications, a disconnect from family and friends, and, as Cody Austill says in the video below, a feeling of disappearance.
But now there may be an alternative treatment for these returning soldiers, called Float Therapy. Float Therapy, as the name hints at, promotes relaxation through a feeling of weightlessness, achieved simply by mixing water and Epsom salt.
Watch the video below to see Cody’s experience with Float Therapy!
